Sophie slept all night!

Finally, she slept through the night! YAY! She cries a bit when we put her in the crib, but only for less than 2 minutes, then she's asleep. She stayed awake from 6:30 to 10:00am when she took her nap, and then it was only for one hour. She ate lots of pretzels in daycare today. She eats well in daycare, but not for me at home.

Sarah at daycare says she likes to steal food from the other children.

She saw Zoe outside (where she doesn't belong) and said "Cat" to daddy to let him know the cat was outside! The other day she alerted me to a cat in a neighbor's yard.

She loves snapping her fingers, dancing and laughs whenever I talk about visiting the goats and make a goat sound.

Books, books, books

Sophie's favorite "toys" are her books. She goes over to her bookshelf and brings me book after book to read to her. She loves the book, "I love my Daddy Because. . . ." And she knows when the end is coming . . . . at the last page, she goes and gets another book, or else, she takes the book and hands it to me again for another reading.

She brings me the same books over and over, and others, she never wants me to read, so I know she has preferences.

She has also begun tearing the flaps off of her lift-the-flap books, so I had to remove them from her reach.
