Singing like a lark
Sophie is now singing songs, officially. Of course, she can't enunciate all the words properly, but she definitely sings the notes closely, the beat is correct, and knows how long to hold notes, etc. I was singing her some lullabies to sleep the other night, and she was singing along! I guess it makes sense, since she's been listening to this music for 20 months now.
She also sings the songs to her TV shows - she holds the note on DragonTales, she says "Aw Man!" at the end of the Dora music, and she sings all the song sequences to Diego. . ."Clap, Clap, Clap" and other little songs in the show. She also loves Twinkle, Twinkle and the ABC song (one in the same).
We start back to swim lessons this week, and music class next week.
We put Boston on through the stereo speakers last night, and she was dancing up a storm! She knows classic rock when she hears it.
